Library Policies

CONDUCT

1. Students are welcome to come to the library before and after school and during lunch periods.
2. Everyone must sign the library attendance register and have I.D. cards on hand.
3. Neither food nor beverages are allowed in the library with the exception of water.
4. The library is reserved for quiet study, reading and research.
5. No cell phones or MP3 players are allowed.

CIRCULATION PRIVILEGES

1. Students may borrow up to 5 books.
2. Circulation loans last 2 weeks or 10 school days, whichever come first.
3. Students must present their student ID cards to borrow books.
4. Each overdue book will be fined 5 cents per day late fee.
5. Lost books must be paid for according to the rules of the School District of Philadelphia governing payment for lost school property.
6. Students will receive timely notices for the return of overdue materials

COMPUTER SERVICES

1. Computers are available on a first come basis.
2. Conserce toner and paper by keeping printouts to a minimum.
