Extracurricular ACTIVITIES

Extracurricular ACTIVITIES at Central are an extensive and important part of the Central experience.

• Included are more than eighty clubs, our internationally acclaimed, Grammy-winning orchestra (which performed in Budapest, Hungary this past summer), jazz band, drama, newspaper, literary magazines, as well as robotics and other nonathletic interscholastic teams.

• Central has a complete and accomplished coeducational sports program offering every Public League interscholastic sport. Central has won 92 Public League Championships in the last decade. Intramural and club athletics are also available.

• Central has a full calendar of dances, trips, and other social events.

The goal of our extra-curricular activity program is to promote diversity, leadership, and to simply provide a means for our students to make friends and relax after a long day of academics.
